REVIEW: Afrique En Cirque | Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2023
"An awe-inspiring, mesmerising display of circus and music."
Inspired by daily life in Guinea, Kalabanta Productions brings their now show, Afrique en Cirque to Assembly at the Edinburgh Fringe.
Celebrating the beauty and artistry of African culture, the troupe perform energetic feats of acrobatics and mind-boggling contortionism, to the contemporary sounds of Afro-Jazz, percussion, and Kora.
Performing with imposing finesse, strength, and agility, the cast also encourage the audience to be part of their show - to clap, chant, and sing along to music.
Afrique en Cirque is an awe-inspiring, mesmerising display of circus and music that will impress audiences of all ages.

The Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society, a registered charity, is the company that organises the structure that underpins the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. The level of commitment required for such an undertaking would not be possible if it weren’t for the enthusiasm of the people of Edinburgh, combined with the longstanding support of our audiences, sponsors, supporters and the goodwill of the Fringe Friends and Angels.
The Fringe Society strives to provide support that exceeds participant and public expectations, and we ask you to join us in supporting this challenge. Every penny you give makes a difference, helping us to develop the services we provide for performers and audience.
