"A nostalgic rom-com with great pace and a great ensemble."
Straight from London's West End, Pretty Woman The Musical has finally arrived in Edinburgh.
Following the story of the movie, the show translated fairly well onto stage. Amber Davies and Oliver Savile filled the boots of the tough cookie Vivian and the suave Edward. Both brought their characters to life with pitch perfect performances.
The vocal standout was Natalie Paris at Kit. Her powerhouse pipes had the audience in awe. But stealing the show was the multiple-faceted and multi-talented Ore Oduba. He brought the razzle dazzle and good vibes as hotel manager Mr Thompson and the Happy Man.
Fun Fact...
Canadian rock star Bryan Adams, along with Jim Vallance, wrote the music for the musical adaptation of the film Pretty Woman.
Pretty Woman The Musical is a nostalgic rom-com with great pace and a great ensemble, and is on at Edinburgh Playhouse until Saturday 13th April 2024.
