Sun, Sweat & Safety: The Heatwave Challenge
TRNSMT 2025 blasted through Glasgow Green under a scorching heatwave, with temperatures hitting the low 30s. The heat was intense, but organisers were on top of it -handing out free water, setting up misting stations, and making sure everyone stayed safe and hydrated. Performers like Sigrid braved the heat and kept the energy pumping, making the festival feel all the more real and raw.
Stage Legends & Surprise Sets: Music Highlights
Friday kicked off with 50 Cent making his Scottish debut, firing up the crowd with his classic hits. Saturday belonged to Biffy Clyro, who owned the stage with a mix of fan favourites and new material, complete with jaw-dropping pyrotechnics. Snow Patrol closed out Sunday, celebrating 30 years together with an emotional and memorable performance. Amy Macdonald surprised everyone with a secret set as “Mrs. Rock & Roll,” adding a cheeky twist to the weekend. Meanwhile, Fontaines D.C. brought their politically charged energy to the mix, keeping the festival’s edge sharp.
Fresh Faces & Local Flair: Rising Talent
TRNSMT featured a fantastic mix of emerging artists like Wet Leg, Brooke Combe, Myles Smith, and Nathan Evans and the Saint Phnx Band, showcasing fresh sounds and local flavour across various stages - proving the festival’s commitment to spotlighting new talent alongside the big names.

Beyond the Main Stage: More Music & Comedy
There was plenty more going on beyond the main stage, too. The King Tut’s Stage, the festival’s second biggest, hosted a great lineup of bands and acts, while the BBC Radio 1 Dance Stage pumped out non-stop beats for the dance music fans. Comedy fans had their own haven at The Hangout, where comedians delivered top-notch sets all weekend, balancing out the festival’s musical energy with plenty of laughs.
Fairground Fun & Festival Vibes
Adding to the festival atmosphere were fairground rides and attractions, including a giant Big Wheel that gave stunning views over Glasgow Green. It was a perfect spot for a breather or a cheeky photo op amid the music madness.
Foodie Heaven: Tasty Treats & Festival Fuel
No festival experience is complete without great food, and TRNSMT nailed it with an array of food trucks and stalls. Whether you were after vegan bites, classic festival munchies, or something a bit more adventurous, there was plenty on offer to keep everyone fed and fuelled for the dancing and fun.
The Vibe: A True Celebration of Music & Community
From start to finish, the atmosphere at TRNSMT 2025 was electric. The mix of legendary performances, fresh talent, comedy, fairground fun, and amazing food created a festival experience that was about more than just music - it was about people coming together, having fun, and celebrating everything the Scottish summer has to offer.

TRNSMT 2025 proved once again why it’s one of Scotland’s unmissable summer festivals, delivering unforgettable moments, new discoveries, and plenty of reasons to start counting down to next year.
